Publications

Link Up

Link Up is a bi-annual publication for all members of Coventry Diocese.

Please send articles and pictures to

Felicity at

felicity.hawke@btinternet.com or

6 Draper Close, Kenilworth CV8 2SP

Link Up is published to coincide with Members’ Days, usually in May and October. Please send items for inclusion to Felicity two months before – end of March and end of August.

Because of new Data Protection rules, if you send photos, please make sure that all the people in shot have given their consent to have their faces shown. I won’t normally print names, unless it is a story about a particular individual.  If you have any questions about this, contact Alison Wiggins via the Office.  If you send photos, please send them as separate attachments, not part of the document. Articles should be no more than 300 words or they may be pruned!

As you will appreciate, it is not possible to produce and distribute Link Up in the usual way. However, Felicity has put together a Special Edition, which is attached. I hope you enjoy reading this somewhat shorter edition.

Link Up Spring 2020

The new Annual Prayer Diary for 2021 (replacing Families Worldwide) features Mothers’ Union prayers and Wave of Prayer from January – December 2021, with new features including quarterly reflections and articles. The Prayer Diary will be delivered direct to your home by the end of November. Spare copies will be available from the Diocesan Office, should you need any.

Mothers' Union Enterprises Catalogue

MU has an online shop which sells excellent value for money merchandise.  You can purchase directly from the online shop, or you can request a catalogue from the shop or via the office.    If you purchase from the website, please indicate that you are from Coventry Diocese as we receive a turnover related grant which helps to fund our local projects.

Using photographs of children and adults

Written permission must be sought from children’s parent/legal guardian before photographs including children can appear in any printed publication. Specific permission must always be given before any photograph can be used on the Website or Facebook.
When photographing adults ask permission first, do not photograph people who do not wish to be photographed. Permission must be given before any photograph can appear in any printed publication, on the Website or Facebook.

Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer, MU is able to reclaim any tax paid on your membership subscriptions and donations if you complete a Gift Aid declaration.
